Bookem updates regularly and usually prompts you to update or be reminded in 5 minutes. When this happens, make sure to finish any unsaved work before clicking Update to load the latest version.
If Bookem doesn’t seem up to date, you can manually refresh or force an update using the steps below.
Sometimes your browser may not load the latest version due to unstable internet or rare issues with browser 'service workers'. Here's how to manually trigger an update:
Go to your browser and visit:
https://app.bookem.com/force-update
If that doesn't work, follow the instructions below for your device or browser.
Press Shift + Ctrl + R on your keyboard to do a hard reload
If the issue continues, clear your cache and cookies
Click the Safari menu in the top left corner
Open Preferences and go to the Privacy tab
Click Manage Website Data and remove stored content for Bookem
Tap on Settings
Scroll down to Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data
Tap Confirm
You can view Google's article on clearing cache and data, or follow these steps
Open the Chrome app
Tap More (three dots in the top right)
Tap History > Clear browsing data
Choose a time range (e.g. All time)
Tick Cookies and site data and Cached images and files
Tap Clear data
