How to use tables in Documents and Document Templates

Bookem allows you to insert customisable tables in your Documents and Document templates.

How to insert tables

Follow these steps:

1. Open the relevant document or document template

2. Once open, click '+ Insert' and select 'Table'

4. Now, you can customise the table as you wish:

  • Add/delete columns: Use the ' v '

  • Add/delete rows: Use the ' v '

  • Edit text: Update or add new content within table cells

  • Highlight: Highlight specific cells to emphasise important information

  • Change cell background colour: For better visual separation

  • Edit font size and colour: Adjust the font size and colour to improve readability and visual appeal

  • Edit font: Italics, bold, s̶t̶r̶i̶k̶e̶ t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶, underline and superscript and subscript.

  • Text alignment: Change the text alignment within the cells to left, centre, or right

  • Add in-text links: link to webpages

Using tables in Document templates

Tables that are inserted into document templates can be customised.

You can edit this template at any stage to make changes to the table.

Using tables in Documents

You can keep customising the table as you need, as per the listed bullets above, once you've started using the template in a document.

You can also add more tables in any document by clicking '+Insert' and selecting 'Table' from the drop-down.
