All about notifications and reminders to clients

Managing notifications and reminders manually can be time-consuming and prone to errors. With Bookem, you can automate messages to your clients for various purposes, such as confirming appointments, reminding them of upcoming bookings, sending video call links, or even following up with surveys. Here's how to make the most of Automated messages:

Setting up notifications:

To manage client notifications, go to: Settings > Automated messages

Default Notifications

Bookem provides a set of default automated messages to handle common booking-related tasks.

  • Booking confirmed notification

  • Two booking reminders (one day before and 2 hours before a booking)

  • Booking cancellation notification

  • Booking change notification

For businesses that take online booking requests, the following notifications are also set up:

  • Client booking request notification

  • Booking denied notification

  • Booking confirmed notification

For video call services:

  • Reminder, with video call link

Follow-up reminders

Follow-up reminders are typically used for messaging clients after their last appointment has ended. For example, you could send a reminder after a rehab session to remind the client to book another session with you in two weeks.

Two other examples of follow-up reminders are Surveys and Recalls.

Surveys

  • You can send surveys to your clients after their appointment. This is a great way to get feedback on your services and improve your customer experience.

Recalls

  • Use recalls to remind clients to rebook, after their last appointment.
