Allow clients to upload images, scans, reports and more

Bookem lets your clients upload files through forms. This is useful for virtual consultations or when you need supporting documents before a session - like referral letters, photos, or test results.

How to allow clients to upload files to Bookem

You can collect file uploads in two ways:

1. Through a sendable form

2. As part of a booking form for a specific service

Here’s how each one works:

Option 1: Use a sendable form

Best for:

• General intake forms

• One-off requests for files

• Virtual consult prep

• Follow - up surveys

Steps:

• Go to Forms

• Create a new form or select an existing one

• Click +Add

• Scroll to the Uploads field at the bottom

• Set the file limit, edit the field label and insert a helpful prompt

• Click Add item

All uploaded files will appear in the form submission linked to the client, under the Forms tab.

Option 2: Use a booking form (Service Form)

Best for:

• Collecting uploads during online bookings

• Services that need specific pre-appointment files

Steps:

• Go to Settings > Services

• Click on the Booking forms tab

• Create a new form or select an existing one

• Click Add, add an Uploads field, then Save

• Link the form to the appropriate service

Now, when clients book this service online, they’ll be prompted to upload files during the booking process
