Setting up Wigwag

Bookem allows you to integrate WigWag as a payment method for your business.

Why use WigWag?

• It's the most affordable online payment method on Bookem.

• Bookem users get a special rate of 2.8% per transaction for local SA transactions.

• No fees for processing refunds, making it easier to manage returns.

Step 1: Sign up for WigWag

Follow these steps:

1. Go to WigWag's website

2. Sign up and create an account

3. Follow the prompts to set up payouts

4. Once your account is set up, find your 'API Client ID' and 'API Client secret', you'll need it for the next step. Click here if you can't find it.

Step 2: Add WigWag as a Payment Method in bookem

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Payments & Invoicing

2. Navigate to the Payment Methods tab

3. Click '+Payment Method'

4. Select WigWag as the payment type

5. Enter your API Client ID and API Client Secret (click here find it)

6. Toggle 'use for online bookings' to on if you want to let clients use this payment method for appointments when they book online.

7. Toggle 'display on invoice' to allow clients to pay their invoice via WigWag.

When WigWag is used to pay here, the client's invoices get marked as paid automatically. The practice requires no manual reconciliation.

8. Click 'Create'
