How to create and send a script

You can use Bookem's Documents feature to easily create and send scripts (non-AES) for prescription medication, over-the-counter (OTC) medication and supplements.

Simply set up a script document template, or use one provided by Bookem and use it to create and send scripts.

Step 1: Create a document template for scripts

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Documents > Templates

2. You can create a new template by clicking'+New Template' or select an existing one from the library

3. To find an existing template, search the business type, eg. 'General Practitioner' to select the 'Prescription' document template

Another example: search 'Dietitian or Nutritionist' to select the 'OTC script' document template

4. Ensure all variables are correctly linked after choosing a template from the library, as they may differ across businesses (incorrect links will appear in red)

5. To fix unlinked variables, delete the broken one and insert the correct variable by typing a hashtag (#) followed by its name to ensure proper data auto-population in the document template

6. Now, you can further customise your template by making use various fields like columns, headers, tables, diagrams, images and signatures

7. Click 'Create and close' to save your template

That's it! You can now use the template to create documents with ease.

Step 2: Create and send scripts in Documents

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Documents and click '+New Document'

2. Search and select the client you want to write a script for

3. Select the 'Prescription' document template

5. Now, click the arrow on the top right and select 'Send'

6. Type in the email address you'd like to send the script to and click 'Send'

7. Your client will receive a link that allows them to open and download the .PDF version of the script you sent them
