Bookem allows you to offer in-person and online services. When a video call service is booked, you'll want a video call link to be sent to your client.
This does happen automatically, but we have to make sure it is set up according to your business setup.
Follow these steps to set up automated messages and reminders that contain the video call link:
1. Go to Settings > Automated messages
2. Open or create an automated message to confirm and/or remind the client of their booking
3. Ensure the automated message is linked to the online service by setting the criteria under "For what bookings would you like to send this message?"
4. Now, in the message body, add the video call variable
A unique video call link is automatically generated by Bookem, if the service is a "video call"
When you use the #video call link variable in your messages, this link is inserted into the message.
An example may look something this:
