Can I use Zoom, FaceTime, MS Teams or Google Meet instead of Bookem Video?

Yes, Bookem Video is built in and automatically generates a secure link for every virtual appointment, so you and your client just click it when the appointment starts. If you'd rather use a different platform you can switch without changing how you set up services or take bookings.

How to use your own video link

To use a third-party video call service:

1. Ensure your service is set up with Video call as the location
   
2. Once a booking has been confirmed, create a video call in your chosen platform
3. Copy the meeting link from the platform (eg. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet etc.)
4. Open the booking in your Bookem calendar
5. Paste your new link over the existing Bookem video link to replace it

Bookem will update this link in all the right places:

• Your client will see the updated link in their appointment confirmation and reminders
• You and your team will see the new link in your calendar
• You can launch the call directly from the appointment view

Changing the link later

You can update the video link at any time, even after reminders have been sent.

The client won’t see the actual link itself – they see a shortcut that always takes them to the most recent link you’ve added.

This gives you flexibility to make changes right up until the appointment starts.

Note: Bookem does not integrate with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet etc. directly. This is a manual process of copying links from one platform to another.
