How to view a document’s version history

Bookem allows you to view previous versions of a document so you can track changes over time and see who worked on a document and when edits were made, which can be particularly useful from a medico-legal perspective.

Here's how

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the document you want to review as you normally would

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the document and click the ∧ icon to expand the footer

  3. Click 'View version history' to open the full version history panel

  4. The version history panel opens on the right-hand side, with the current version indicated at the top of the document

  5. Click on any listed version to view its contents

How to restore a previous version

  1. Select the version you'd like to restore in the version history panel
