How to turn off autofill in your browser

When you fill out fields and forms in Bookem, your browser may try to save or suggest information using a feature called autofill. This can sometimes cause issues with how Bookem works.

Use this guide to disable autofill in common browsers:

Google Chrome

  • Click the three dots in the top right corner

  • Select "Settings"

  • Click "Autofill and passwords"

  • Alternatively, you can search for "autofill" in the settings search bar

  • Toggle off the desired autofill features (e.g., passwords, addresses, payment methods)

Mozilla Firefox

  • Click the three lines (Menu) in the top right corner

  • Select "Preferences"

  • Go to "Privacy & Security"

  • In the "Forms & Passwords" section, remove the check mark next to "Autofill addresses"

Safari (macOS)

  • Go to Safari > Preferences

  • Click on the "Autofill" tab

  • Uncheck the boxes for the autofill data you want to disable (except usernames and passwords if you use Safari to maintain login information)

Microsoft Edge

  • Click the three dots (More actions) in the top right corner

  • Select "Settings" > "Profiles"

  • Select "Addresses and more"

  • Move the "button" to the left to disable saved addresses

Android Browser (Chrome or other)

  • Open the browser and go to settings

  • Tap on "Autofill" or "Passwords and forms"

  • Toggle off the specific autofill features you want to disable

iOS (Safari)

  • Go to Settings > Safari > Autofill

  • Toggle off the desired autofill features

Additional notes:

  • These instructions are based on the latest versions of each browser. The specific steps may vary slightly depending on your version.

  • You can always re-enable autofill by returning to the settings and turning on the toggles.
