How to add a new AI template from the template library

Bookem’s template library includes a range of document templates, including templates with AI. These are ready-made templates that can use AI scribe within AI Assist, but they also work as standard document templates if you choose not to use AI.

How to add a template with AI

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Documents > Templates

2. Click '+ New template'

2. In the pop-up window, select Template library

3. Select a business type if needed to filter results

4. Click on the template you would like to use (the templates with AI will be tagged with purple stars)

5. Click Save to add the template to your business templates

6. Open the saved template to review and customise it for your practice. AI prompts saved into Templates with AI can be used as-is, or you can modify it. Learn more here.

Notes

• Using AI is optional. You can use the template as a standard document without AI
• If you are migrating from Heidi, you can copy your existing structure into a template with AI
• You remain responsible for reviewing and finalising all documents created using AI scribe
