By default, when a client opens your online booking page, Bookem jumps to your first available appointment slot.
You can change this setting so the calendar stays on today’s date instead. This gives you more control over how clients view your availability.
Here’s how
Follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > General preferences
- Under, 'Online bookings' scroll down to 'Disable jumping to the first available slot'
- Toggle this setting on
- Scroll down and click 'Save
When enabled, your booking page will stay on today’s date when clients open it.
When this setting is helpful
- Clients are booking appointments far in advance without realising
- You want the booking page to always open on today’s date
- You prefer clients to choose a date themselves rather than being taken to the next available slot
When to leave this setting turned off
- Your next available appointment is far in the future
- You want clients to immediately see your earliest available slot
- If there is no availability today and your next slot is months away, leaving this setting turned off helps clients see that straight away.
